You probably have already heard about Asher Willig. The 2-year-old son of former Minor Leaguer Cory Willig has had an early love of baseball and bomb dropping bat swinging.
Asher has even faced a left-handed hitting A-Rod on The Tonight Show.
They call Willig a prodigy, but I would argue that his fundamentals can be taught to any hitter…. even as young as Asher.
Of course, that should not take away from Asher’s love of baseball, natural talent, and swing. Notice how Asher doesn’t roll over like many young hitters do.
What other fundamentals do you notice that Asher does well? Take a look at his front leg and foot.
Watch this video and see how he prevents himself from turning over and how your hitter can too.
Maybe the 2034 Draft will have Asher’s name called or maybe it will be your athlete…. who knows 🙂
P.S. If you haven’t already seen it, Asher ended up winning the competition against A-Rod.
