Does Your Hitter Have Slow Bat Speed? Fix It Now With This Free Workout

How These 3 Bat Speed Training Secrets Can Get Your Child Swinging With More Power in 30 Days Or Less

– Without Spending Thousands On Hitting Lessons That You Aren’t Even Sure Will Work…

– Without Having To “Hope & Pray” Their Travel Coaches Will “Figure It Out”

– Without Having To Listen To The Other Dad’s On The Team About What’s Helped Their Son Or Daughter Become Such A Great Hitter

The truth is that most young hitters who struggle to generate bat speed are 3 adjustments from adding an extra 4-5 MPH, in some cases 10 MPH, to their swing.

For every extra mile per hour of bat speed you add to your swing then the ball will travel an extra 6-7 feet in distance.

That means an extra 4-5 MPH of bat speed can add an extra 28-35 feet to their best hit balls. Pretty crazy, right?

In softball the calculation it’s a slightly different calculation, but you get the picture.  More bat speed means more power.

It’s amazing to see what happens when a hitter can see, hear, and feel the ball fly off their bat harder than it ever has before.  You can see the confidence instantly injected into their body.

They have a huge smile on their face, mood improves, body language changes, and they start to believe in their abilities.

The problem is that 99% of Hitters Don’t Use These 3 Bat Speed Training Secrets

The truth is that there is a small population of baseball and softball players who are born with elite bat speed.  They simply pick up a bat and swing the bat with practically Ruthian like bat speed.

For the rest of us mortals, we have to train our bodies to generate more bat speed.

The sad this is that the hitters who aren’t born with natural bat speed are written off at an early age as untalented or poor hitters. They hit far down in the line-up, lack confidence, and usually want to walk away from the game at an early age.

Back in the day kids would turn to other sports, but now they turn to video games. It’s really sad to watch.

The 3 Bat Speed Training Secrets

I’m sure you’re wondering what these 3 bat speed training secrets are and if they are so useful than why doesn’t every coach in the United States train their hitters using these techniques?

The truth is that most coaches do not work to improve their own training methods as time goes on. They have “their way” which always seems to be the best way regardless of the results it’s getting for the players.  If one of the players doesn’t improve using “their way” then it’s the hitter’s fault.

All I can share with you is these bat speed techniques that helped me become ranked 4th in all-time home runs at Mississippi State behind Rafael Palmeiro and Will Clark and hear my name called in the MLB Draft twice.

Bat Speed Training Secret #1: Train the front leg and hips to snap explosively through contact.

Here’s a specific video example of the action I’m describing.

Once a hitter understands how to do this then you will immediately hear, not only see, but hear a difference in the way the ball is coming off their bat.

Bat speed training secret #2:  Prime The Bat Speed Training Muscles Before Each Hitting Session

This is one of the most overlooked parts of bat speed training, but one of the keys to bat speed & power.

When I finished playing my professional career with The San Diego Padres I started to compete in World Long Drive.

If you haven’t seen the World Long Drive contests just picture 100 Happy Gilmores competing against each other to hit the ball as far as humanly possible.

I applied the same training principles I used to generate bat speed to work on increasing my club head speed.

The result?

I set a World Record of 156 MPH Club Head Speed and placed 5th in The World.

Here’s a video of me swinging Live on Golf Channel swinging a club 156 MPH.

(The Bat Speed Warm Up I give you inside The 30 Day Bat Speed Cure Program is a more baseball specific version of the warm up I did on this night.)

Bat speed training secret #3 – Train The Swing With Athletic Movement, Not Rigid Mechanics. Be Athletic Throughout Their Swing

Many times hitters will get paralysis by analysis because of information overload during instruction.  Too much mechanical instruction can be a big bat speed destroyer.

If your son or daughter is lacking bat speed & power, but has the physical ability to produce it then this may be playing a big role in what’s hindering them from reaching their top level of performance.

Inside The 30 Day Bat Speed Cure I use simple exercises that are designed to tap into the hitter’s athleticism & build proper hitting mechanics at the same time.

What would an extra 4-5 MPH, or even 10 MPH, of bat speed do for a hitter?

For every extra mile per hour of bat speed you add to your swing then the ball will travel an extra 6-7 feet in distance.

Hitting more home runs is great, but that’s not really where extra bat speed pays off.

When a hitter adds extra bat speed to their swing…

The ground balls that were easy outs last season are now base hits that fly past the diving infielders. The weak line drives in the gap turn into doubles and triples. The fastballs they were late on last season are now base hits to right field.

The used to be 7-9 hitter in the line up now becomes the 5 or 6 hitter at the beginning of the season. By the end of the season they may climb even further up the line up.

But the most valuable thing your son or daughter will receive from The 30 Day Bat Speed Training Program is the confidence that they can do anything they put their mind to.

You need to try this out. It helped me go from below mediocre in my line up to batting 3 and 4th consistently.
